The Slack space exists to support one another, share tutoring resources, and celebrate the impact we’re making together. To keep this a respectful, supportive, and productive community, we ask all members to follow these guidelines.
1. Be Respectful & Collaborative
Be kind and professional in all interactions.
Welcome diverse perspectives and treat everyone with respect.
Share resources, encouragement, and questions openly. This is a learning community!
2. Use Channels First, Limit DMs
Post questions in public channels first. Your question will likely help others, too!
Do no direct message other coaches, only UPchieve staff
3. Protect Privacy & Report Issues
Keep all communication with other coaches on the community slack
Do not share students’, coaches’ or your own personally identifiable information (full names, contact info, screenshots of sessions, etc.).
Set your Slack display name to show first name only.
You can update your display name to remove your last name by following these instructions
Report concerns or inappropriate behavior by emailing [email protected].
❗ If these guidelines aren’t followed, UPchieve staff may step in, and repeated or serious issues could result in removal from the community.
