๐ Many students are wrapping up school or have already finished for the year.
๐ค It's normal to see fewer tutoring requests during the summer months (June-August).
๐ Tutoring demand typically begins increasing again the first week of September.
๐ฑ Requests are often picked up quickly, so increasing your availability hours will not lead to more text alerts.
How text notifications work:
We don't send text alerts immediately when a student makes a request.
The platform waits a few minutes to see if a volunteer accepts the request directly from the dashboard.
If the request isnโt picked up, text notifications are sent to available volunteers.

(If youโre in high school or from a different county and unfamiliar with the U.S. college application process, please avoid certifying in this subject. Students prefer coaches with direct experience.)
