📈 Tutoring demand typically begins increasing again the first week of September.
📱 Requests are often picked up quickly, so increasing your availability hours will not lead to more text alerts.
How text notifications work:
We don't send text alerts immediately when a student makes a request.
The platform waits a few minutes to see if a volunteer accepts the request directly from the dashboard.
If the request isn’t picked up, text notifications are sent to available volunteers.

(If you’re in high school or from a different county and unfamiliar with the U.S. college application process, please avoid certifying in this subject. Students prefer coaches with direct experience.)
